Between Stillness & Storm is a visual journal of a life lived between worlds – imagined and deeply felt.

Others move like weather – sudden, fierce, impossible to ignore.

This space lives between those states.

Through photography, memory, and reflection, I explore the moments that shape us: the traditions we inherit, the storms we endure, and the quiet places where love and loyalty take root.

The Voice

Sophie began as an avatar in Second Life, but over time she became something more – a lens through which I explore identity, creativity, and the emotional landscapes we carry within us.

She is both narrator and witness: the part of me that walks between the world we live in and the worlds we imagine.

The photographs shared here exist in that imagined world, yet the feelings behind them are real.

They trace quiet intimacy, shared storms, and the invisible threads that carry the past into the present.

Not posed stories, but lived ones… carried forward by time, choice, and return.

The Intention

Some memories are written in words.
Others appear only in light and shadow.

This journal holds both.
